Support can come in many forms: participation, assistance, encouragement, financial – just to name a few. Our local volunteer organizations always need your support. We would like to invite all residents to get involved in the community. We are grateful to the people who share their talents and skills to the multitude of volunteer organizations, the North Brunswick Volunteer Fire Department, the North Brunswick First Aid & Rescue Squad, Domestic Violence Response team, North Brunswick Food Bank, CERT team, the Township’s advisory committees, school groups and our youth sports programs. North Brunswick is a community that also prides itself on volunteerism. ![]() The Township celebrates its rich history and diversity each October at its annual Heritage Day at Community Park off Route 130 South. ![]() North Brunswick takes pride in its diversity, with a 2022 ranking of #2 in the most diverse suburbs in New Jersey and #5 in the most diverse places to live in New Jersey. With a population of 43,905 (2020 Census), the Township offers a suburban feel with a mix of families, young professionals and retirees. The Township of North Brunswick is nestled in the heart of Central New Jersey, approximately 40 miles southwest of New York City.
